It’s a new month and even though no one should wait till then to set goals, a new month comes with this refreshing feeling and a little urge to start something (maybe not). Can’t believe it’s November already!
Sharing my monthly goals with you would definitely keep me accountable. So, the next monthly goals post will entail how I achieved the previous month’s goals. You get?
November 2019 Goals
1. Publish 10 blog posts.
2. Get at least 20 blog subscribers
3. Finish my current read – “Success through a Positive Mental Attitude” by Napoleon Hill & Clement Stone.
4. Send a weekly newsletter to my subscribers (you should join them, I share amazing stuff)
5. Start writing an e-book.
Sounds like a lot, yeah? They are actually very achievable, so, no problem at all. I just need to put my mind to it, that’s all.
Life has been fair, to be honest. It’s actually a little scary sharing about my life here. If you know me well enough, you’d know I’m the reserved type. You might even live with me and not exactly know what’s going on with me.
So, when it comes to writing life updates, my aim is to relate with my online family and inspire them, even in the littlest ways.
Sadly, I haven’t been to Church in a long while. Haba, wait, don’t judge me. There’s a reason for everything, you know?
But what could actually prevent me from going to church, you may ask
I’ve been working with an ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) tuition centre and trust me, my weekends are like Mondays. They are the busiest days and yes, including Sundays. It was quite difficult adjusting to that- I’m not saying I have- but then, I’m used to it now.
Personally, I don’t joke with my quiet time and Bible study. I also listen to sermons on YouTube and TV too. I know it can’t be measured with fellowshipping with the brethren, but well, I try.
So, I explained that I lost my blog here. Getting it back comes with mixed feelings, trust me. On one hand, I’m happy to have this space back and communicate. On the other hand, procrastination still sits close to me.
I have plans for this blog, a lot of them. And truth be told, they kind of scare me. But then, there’s this saying about having dreams that should scare and excite you at the same time. So, we’re on track.
On life generally
I’m living each day with the realisation that God loves me unconditionally.
I’ve also come to realise that God isn’t kind to us because we actually worship Him or obey His commands. It’s His nature to be kind, loving and merciful.
I haven’t figured life out in any way, but I am hopeful and working towards a better future for myself and the ones in my little circle.
I am becoming a daily journal writer, (if there’s anything like that) and it’s been really helpful, especially for my mental health.
I have learned to be more grateful, observant and focused on what’s truly important. Here’s to more journalling.
What’s been going on with you?
What are your some of your goals for the new month?
Have an amazing November !
